To quote the Cape Times……’Epstein Thrives On The Elvis Beat’.  But that’s not all. Besides 1950’s and 60’s rock ‘n roll, which is his main focus, Gordon Epstein also does various other genres of music now, including jazz, blues, and country.

This solo vocalist and guitarist started singing at the age of 3, and did his first live performance, at The Sea Point Civic Centre, at the age of 5.

His music style is light, uplifting and catchy, and appeals to people of all ages.

Besides being one of the busiest live music performers on the circuit, this Cape Town-based South African artist is also an accomplished recording artist. He writes and records his own work, and also does vocal session work on recordings for other artists.

Gordon Epstein’s original songs are being played on in-store radio across Europe and the USA. Two of his songs have recently been included in compilation albums produced in the USA and distributed worldwide. His song ‘Shake It Shake It’ has recently been included on the USA produced an album, called Rock Rhythm Tempo, and his song ‘Yeah You Rock Me’ has been included on the USA produced an album, called Blues Music Serenade. His songs are available, worldwide, at all the major online digital music stores, including iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Deezer, Simfy Africa, Spotify, and Tidal, to stream or download.

He can be heard on various radio stations in South Africa, including Whale Coast FM, One FM, RSG, Zone Radio, Coastal Radio SA, as well as on radio stations in Australia and the UK.

Gordon Epstein performs every week at The Red Herring Restaurant in Noordhoek and Franky’s Diner in Sea Point.

He also performs at various, upmarket, private functions and events, including wedding receptions and corporate events.
